Over fifty youth from Inverness County have committed their time, energy and talents to creating some really fun and exciting arrangements to some of the most popular and sought after Christmas carols and Holiday favourites of all times.  This super group will be accompanied by a live band.  The band will at times consist of youth and adults.  You’ll hear the sounds of bells, synthesizer, piano, acoustic and electric guitar, drums, the whole nine yards!

Our youth choir will also be joined by VOCAL MOTION. VOCAL MOTION is enjoying their second season as an acappella ensemble, directed by Laurel Browne.   They are all former members of Browne’s children’s group, the Young County Singers.  The group was formed in 2017, to provide a more sophisticated musical ensemble for teens who had previous vocal and performance experience. Choosing the music, experimenting with harmonies and rhythms are all part of the ensemble experience.  The group are featured guests on the Inverness County Singers’ performances.  VOCAL MOTION is open to singers ages 13-18.

Some of the music they have been working on preparing for you will include Underneath the Tree, Little Drummer Boy, Silent Night, Rocking Around the Christmas Tree, Do You Hear What I Hear, Angels We Have Heard on High, Where are You Christmas, Angels We Have Heard On High, and Iesum Dominum – a unique Gaelic hymn with a Latin chorus!
