THE CAST CAME BACK – They couldn’t stay away! The 2017 Summertime Revue crew is excited to gear up again for another round of great music and side-splitting comedy. This August the characters of the Revue hit the road to perform at Strathespey Performing Arts Centre in Mabou, the DeCoste Centre in Pictou and the Rebecca Cohn in Halifax.

Revue cast mates Peter MacInnis, Stephanie Hennessey, Margaret MacPherson, Jordan Musycsyn and Jenn Sheppard will once again make up the out front comedic and musical team and are backed by some of the best musicians in the business. Musical Directors Stephen Muise and Fred Lavery are at the helm, with Allie Bennett on bass guitar, Brian Talbot on percussion/drums, Rachel Davis on fiddle/vocals and Darren McMullen on just about everything else! Head writer Ed MacDonald is currently burning out pencil tips as he transcribes daily happenings – political and otherwise – into hilarious scenes for the stage. Audiences can expect to see some return characters as well as some new ones.

Staying true to the traditions of keeping Cape Breton culture at the forefront, show-goers are treated to two hours of political parodies, original, locally-written tunes and an endless array of hilarious characters, bringing our unique island perspectives to life. You can laugh and sing and dance in the aisles if you feel the need!

Tickets are on sale Wednesday, May 3!
