Singer-songwriter Aaron MacDonald comes from Mabou but his musical adventures have taken him all over the country. With several albums recorded, ECMA nominations and #1 songs on the East Coast Countdown, MacDonald’s music comes across as something between the funky, positive-vibe tunes of someone like Jack Johnson and the East Coast country-contemporary sound of Jimmy Rankin.
My name is Alasdair Cameron. I live in Northeast Mabou with my mom, my dad and my sister. I am a grade 10 student at Dalbrae Academy. A lot of my interests revolve around theatre. I love music, I play the drums and am part of a band. I also love to act, and I am part of the school drama club as well as Strathspey Performing Arts Centre’s summer production of Brigh. I also speak Gaelic every day at home with my dad, and we are strong supporters of the culture and language. Suas leis a gaidhlig!
